This book did not help at all. They basically just explained the formulas in then Environmental Engineering section of the reference manual (which you probably have in textbooks anyway) and had some practice problems relating to those formulas. However, the actual test pulled mostly from Civil Engineering and the problems were nothing like the ones in this book.

Take this as gospel: If you know where in the supplied reference book to find the tools required to answer questions you will pass the exam.
In that regard this book was great. The sample questions got me familiar with the various sections of the reference book that I needed on the exam. One of the tricks to the exam is knowing what the formulas in the reference book mean. In that regard, too, this book was useful.
It only gets four stars because the section of the review book dedicated to actual understanding/theory is pretty weak. How can you cover an entire discipline in a handful of review pages? Not sure. But this book isn't it. Use it for the practice problems and practice exams. Ignore the writing.
